    * Kale & Sage FRITTATA with a Wild Miner’s Lettuce Salad (Veg, GF) * Housemade BREAKFAST SAUSAGE of Carlton Farms Pork (GF, DF) * Herbfarm Yogurt (cultured overnight with our own starter) accompanied by Bartlett Pears Poached in ASTONISHING Whatcom County MAPLE SYRUP from our very own native BIGLEAF MAPLES (Veg, GF) And, take a look at those EGGS in the picture! We sourced 1,500 eggs from our friends Jonathan & Petrina Fisher at SKYLIGHT FARMS in Snohomish. Jonathan and Petrina left desk jobs 13 years ago to raise their family and to raise ethical, sustainable, and TASTY food for our community. The eggs are the “lay jobs” of their teeing flock of hens, hens of several breeds. The birds spend most of their time outdoors running, pecking, and scratching at the grass under open skies next to the Snohomish River. The yolks glow like molten sunshine. When we started this project, we didn’t know how long it would or could last. At this point, it looks like we are all in this for a longer haul than first anticipated. Your contribution helps purchase Jonathan & Petrina’s eggs (and many, many other foods), which are feeding those who are making PERSONAL SACRIFICES in our area hospitals for the common good of our community and ultimately to protect us all.

    Overnight we created 175 portions of YOGURT using Fresh Breeze Organics' whole milk. The yogurt uses a house culture that The Herbfarm maintains for its own desserts during "normal times".
